Who we are
A newsroom and a training floor for competitive gaming
ArenaGamingGuide began in 2016 as a match-analysis blog written from a share house in Fitzroy. Today it is a full academy pairing editorial-grade guides with hands-on coaching.
We treat every patch, meta shift, and bracket the way a sports desk treats a season — with sourced reporting, frame-by-frame breakdowns, and honest verdicts. Our writers are ranked players first and journalists second, so nothing gets published unless it holds up in a real lobby.
The coaching arm grew out of reader demand. Members kept asking how our analysts climbed, so we opened the training floor on Gore Street: eight coaching booths, a scrim theatre, and a broadcast desk used for weekly community tournaments across Victoria.

Frequently asked questions
We coach the major competitive titles across FPS, MOBA, and fighting games. When you book, you tell us the title and your current rank, and we match you with a coach who actively plays at a high level in that game. If we cannot support your title well, we will tell you upfront rather than take the booking.
No. Most coaching runs remotely over voice and screen share, with recordings shared after each session. The Gore Street floor is there if you prefer in-person booths, want to join a scrim block, or attend one of our live community tournaments.
Programs are booked in blocks rather than single sessions so your coach can track progress over time. Payment is per block in Australian dollars, with no lock-in contract and no auto-renewal. You can pause between blocks whenever you need to.
Rank is never guaranteed, but progress is tracked against your own replays every week. If you complete the drills and attend your reviews without measurable improvement in the tracked metrics, we extend your coaching at no extra cost until you do.
